Description
An integrated and multi-leveled project for your Special Education or elementary classroom that teaches the life cycle of a leaf; from the beginning to the end of autumn. Over a four to eight-week (or more) period, your students will incorporate Reading, Writing, Math (using simple line graphs), Science and Social Studies.
They will learn and have fun at the same time!
This has been a very successful unit that I have been using with my middle school Special Education class (levels k-4) for years. This lesson also works well for elementary grades. Thank you for trying it out. I have so many units that I have in the works for this site.
