Description
This resource allows students to practice finding limits algebraically using a variety of methods. It could be used as an in class activity or assigned as homework.
This resource should be used AFTER teaching students how to find limits algebraically.
Students must have prior knowledge of factoring and use of conjugates to complete this activity.
Directions: Students will need to start with problem #1 and find the limit algebraically. Once they have a found the limit of problem #1, students will need to search the upper right of each box for the matching answer. Students will label this box #2. Students will need to repeat the instructions for problem #2. Problem #2 will lead to #3, problem #3 will lead to #4 and so on.
Problem #16 will lead back to #1 to complete the circuit.
If you have lower level students, you may want to make modifications such as allowing students to work with a partner.
