This concise, to the point and no-prep finding missing sides of similar figures lesson is a great way to teach & introduce proportions and similar figures. This lesson teaches students how to set up a proportion with similar figures to find a missing side length. There are five examples that include a variety of practice. Students and teachers love how easy these notes are to follow and understand.

These notes get straight to the point of the skill being taught, which I have found is imperative for the attention span of middle schoolers! They are also a great tool for students to refer back to.
