Description

Looking for an engaging assignment to practice Reference Angles? These self-checking partner worksheets will have students find reference angles in degrees and radians. This assignment also encourages students to work collaboratively, engage in discussion, and check their work. Assign this activity with no prep from you, and watch as your students receive immediate feedback while they practice their skills!

How it works:

  • Assign students a partner and have them choose who will complete column A and column B
  • Students will work on their own unique problems, and compare their answers with their partner. If the solutions are the same, they are correct and may move on. If they disagree, have them trade papers and check each other’s work.

Content features:

  • Version A
    • Students will solve reference angles in degrees
    • Students should be familiar with both positive and negative angles
    • Students should be familiar with positive and negative coterminal angles

  • Version B
    • Students will solve reference angles in radians
    • Students should be familiar with both positive and negative angles
    • Students should be familiar with positive and negative coterminal angles

This Finding Reference Angles resource is a downloadable PDF that includes:

  • TWO partner worksheets, each with 9 questions per student
  • Recording sheet to organize each student’s work
  • All answer keys

Are your students tired of boring worksheets? This resource is great to assign for additional practice. It also makes a great activity to leave with a substitute since students will be able to check their own work! These Finding Reference Angles partner worksheets promote discussion among partners and encourage students to check for their mistakes.

The best part? These two sets of worksheets are differentiated for you! You can assign both versions to double the practice as students strengthen their skills, modify work for classes at different levels, or assign to specific students to meet their individual needs.
