Description

Finding the derivative using the constant, product, sum and difference rules. 25 unique and well thought out problems that will provide further enrichment for Calculus students. The symmetrical coloring design helps students self check their answers and makes it easy for teachers to grade. Great for additional practice, classwork, homework, independent study, extra credit, and subs. Note: For several reasons, many of the answers are left in the form with a negative exponent so they are not technically simplified all the way. Please download the preview to see exactly what you're getting. Thank you.
*Note: Fixed error with a exponent showing 1/2 instead of -3/2.

Thank you! I completely agree that there is a real lack of fun, engaging resources at the calc level. Knowing your students loved it and are asking for more is great motivation to keep building out that catalog. I appreciate the review and the encouragement!

Great value
Several of my students were having trouble using the power rule for derivatives by just using the formula. This resource, which was a low-stress, fun interlude, coaxed them into confidence for a variety of functions with both integer exponents and square roots, so they learned what to do with positive exponents, negative exponents, and fractional exponents. They urged me to give a positive review for this product. "We really like this one."
