Description

Looking for an engaging, motivating, self-checking, and most of all FUN activity for students to get their skills practice in? Try a digital sticker worksheet!

What's great about digital sticker worksheets?

  • So many ways to use this activity! Use this worksheet (digital or paper) for virtual learning, extra practice, math labs, stations, advanced or remedial practice (depending on grade level), or review.

  • Students can get instant feedback. The self-check aspect of this activity means students can move on confidently if they are understanding the concept, while those who need help can quickly see that they need it.

  • When the correct answer is entered, the cell will turn green and students are awarded with a sticker. An incorrect answer will turn red or strike out.

  • Unlike many self-checking activities, the answers in this worksheet are harder for technologically savvy students to stumble across, as the answers are hidden away in cells rather than in the conditional formatting tab. (Even my most talented answer-finders couldn't figure it out before the activity had ended.)

  • For situations where a paper version is necessary, this sheet can be easily formatted to print to one page.

What's included:

  • A link that directs to a copy of the Google Sheet activity with instructions.

  • This worksheet includes 12 unit rate problems with both whole number and simple decimal answers.

  • Answer key

Understand the concept of a unit rate 𝘒/𝘣 associated with a ratio 𝘒:𝘣 with 𝘣 β‰  0, and use rate language in the context of a ratio relationship. For example, β€œThis recipe has a ratio of 3 cups of flour to 4 cups of sugar, so there is 3/4 cup of flour for each cup of sugar.” β€œWe paid $75 for 15 hamburgers, which is a rate of $5 per hamburger.”
