Description

If you are looking for an Identifying Zeros of Polynomials practice worksheet that is aimed at fostering independent work, enhancing skills, and enabling self-assessment, check out this Finding Zeros Circuit Training - a worksheet designed for just that purpose!

How it works: Students will begin by answering the questions in the first box (Box A). They will look for their answer somewhere else on the worksheet. They will answer the next question that corresponds to where their answer was found. Repeat this process until all 14 questions are answered and they end up back in box A.

Content Features:

  • 14 questions
  • Self-checking

Objective:

  • Students will find the zeros (roots) of polynomial functions. All solutions are real numbers and students will not get complex answers.
  • Students will need to use the following methods to factor: GCF, trinomials, perfect square trinomials, and the Rational Root Theorem + Synthetic Division

⭐️ This is great for …

  • Productive classwork -  Students have a clear objective, can check their work as they go along, and can still complete the worksheet out of order if they get stuck. Great to leave for a substitute!
  • Helping students work more independently - students will be able verify if their answers are correct after each problem

This product includes: PDF file - worksheet and answer key.
