This 11-page slideshow has corresponding worksheets for students as well as a classroom stations activity! The slideshow teaches how to find unit rates and compare to determine the better buy. The lesson includes 2 "Let's Try It Together" problems, 1 "Try It with a Partner" problem, 1 "Try It on Your Own" problem, 1 exit ticket and 1 homework sheet. The lesson also comes with a classroom stations activity, for which the students must "shop" for the items needed to make an ice cream sundae for their teacher. They are asked to find the better buy for each item. The download includes signs to hang around the classroom, a worksheet for students to use at each station.
