Your students will love this fun first day back, get to know you activity. Each student will get a sheet filled with squares that list activities that their classmates may have participated in over the summer. The students will circulate around the room asking their classmates questions and then writing the names of classmates in each square that applies to them. The first student to get all the squares filled wins! This activity would work well for any second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth grade classroom. The activity should take approximately 15 minutes and can be modified in a number of ways to work for both larger and smaller classrooms. Make back to school fun and have a super school year!
