These first grade math assessments are perfect to use as quick checks or exit tickets! They are a perfect way to quickly assess your students’ understanding of a math concept. These half sheet math quick checks are fast, student friendly, and provide the teacher with valuable information to guide and differentiate their instruction.

Teachers will be able to easily assess student understanding on first grade math standards using these half sheet exit tickets/quick checks. Teachers can keep track of student data using the checklist provided. There are 37 first grade math assessments included!

The following first grade math units are covered:

•Geometry – 2D and 3D shapes

•Place Value – up to 120

•Number Sense – numbers up to 120

•Data and Graphing – tally charts, picture graphs, and bar graphs

•Telling Time – time to the hour and half hour

•Money – coin identification and counting a collection of coins

•Addition – up to 20

•Subtraction – within 20

•Word Problems – addition and subtraction within 20

•Two–Digit Addition – up to 100 without regrouping

•Two-Digit Subtraction – within 100 without regrouping

•Measurement – nonstandard measurement
