This First grade math digital and printable resource focuses on using strategies to add within 20. Students will gain practice in doubles, doubles +1, making a ten to add, and counting on. Students use these strategies to gain fluency with the skill by playing engaging games.

Opportunities for whole group and small group instruction. Perfect for partner work and turn and talks.
The slides are fun and engaging. Product contains moveable objects for use with interactive boards. If you do not have an interactive board, you can use a mouse to click and drag the objects or draw images to show the tens and ones.
The anchor charts can be projected as reminders and learning aids when students are doing work or they can be printed out and added to your focus wall.
The Learning Mats are an excellent tool to engage students during whole group instruction. They help students stay focused and also provide structure during Turn and Talks or partner work. The scaffolding makes learning accessible for all students.
The activities / game provides a fun engaging way to practice the skills taught and builds listening skills.
Prep is easy. Most items are in B&W. Simply print and place in protective sleeves. No need to laminate. Cards require a bit of prep - laminating if desired and cutting.
