Math Mats evolved from my love of task cards. One night when I was laminating and laminating and laminating, cutting and cutting and cutting...I thought "there has to be a better way!" Just like a cheesy infomercial. Lo and behold, the idea for Math Mats came to me in the shower that night!

Math mats are like task cards that don't need to be cut apart. There are four cards on each page that revolve around a center circle. Students use information from that center circle to complete the four tasks on each card. Each set of cards is seasonal and follows the general progression of skills for first grade, however they all retain the same basic format making them easy to use each month.

Each set of cards comes with a printable answer sheet for the students to fill in. The answer sheets are customized to match each set of cards, for example, if a student has to write a set of related facts there will be blank spaces to fill in for the two addition and two subtraction problems. Full answer keys are included as well.
