Description

Add these True and False Sorting Centers to your first grade math groups! I used them when my students were working on Grade One Module One Topics A-J.

Do you have to use Eureka Math or another curriculum? Our school doesn't use it. No worries! The 100 questions (10 sets) cover the following first grade standards: 1.OA.1, 1.OA.3, 1.OA.4, 1.OA.5, 1.OA.6, 1.OA.7, 1.OA.8

Included in this Sorting Center:

  • Directions for preparation and use
  • 10 Sorting Centers (10 questions each)
  • Answer Keys for every topic
  • Extra True and False sorting cards

These centers are VERY easy to prepare and store! Use the sorting cards with a mini pocket chart, the Target $1.00 boxes (3 or 4-compartments), or a simple plastic bag. Add the answer key for students or volunteers to check their work.

Please download the preview for a closer look at the materials.

LOVE this resource! Such a treat to find independent task options that align directly to our curriculum. Would gobble up more Eureka task activities if they come out in the future :)

Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. If 8 + 3 = 11 is known, then 3 + 8 = 11 is also known. (Commutative property of addition.) To add 2 + 6 + 4, the second two numbers can be added to make a ten, so 2 + 6 + 4 = 2 + 10 = 12. (Associative property of addition.)
Understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem. For example, subtract 10 – 8 by finding the number that makes 10 when added to 8.
