Description
*NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EUREKA TEXAS OR EUREKA SQUARED*
This is a PowerPoint resource that will help you teach the second module for first grade. It includes slides for Lessons 12-29 with the needed problems, examples, number bonds, Hide Zero cards, etc. It also includes I Can Statements, Fluency, Application Problems, Problem Sets, Debriefs, and Lesson Links to keep you from having to scroll through other lessons to find the one you need. It is designed to be be used with an interactive whiteboard so that the teacher can model problem solving during each lesson. If you purchase, be sure to preview each lesson in Slide Show. Some slides contain text boxes/objects that appear/disappear/move with a click of the mouse. I use a presentation clicker so that I don't have to touch the screen or click the mouse.
I began creating these PPTs to help manage class time. When I first started teaching the modules, I had a very difficult time getting it all in, and Concept Development took up most of my class time. I had even purchased a set of fancy PPTs to help me. I found them to be too busy and a distraction for my kids. I have designed my slides to be simple, yet child-friendly. I try to keep each lesson to as few slides as possible to teach the lesson thoroughly. My kids love math this year, and I feel so much more organized!
I love to hear from buyers! If you have suggestions for ways to make your teaching even easier, please leave them in the Q&A section. Thank you!
