The slides are visually appealing. It is not for daily use though- which is what I was looking for. Included are many special days throughout the entire school year.

The morning messages are pretty typical and worked most of the time. I had to edit a lot because they did not accurately depict a "woke" version of MLK Jr. who was murdered for fighting for equal rights, the glossing over of a lot of history and the overall lack of other perspectives. This is a good starting point and not unlike the hegemonic teaching but I think we can all do more, in light of recent events, to engage even our littlest learners with a wider ethnic studies lens. It begins with educators willing to tell the truth about history.
