Description

This morning work will provide a quick review that your students need every day. Students can complete it in about 10 minutes and then you go over the answers. There are 20 days of morning work in this unit. Lessons 1-5 cover the same topics as do lessons 6-10, 11-15 and 16-20. If you would like, the fifth lesson of each week could be used as a quiz. There is a book cover and the work pages can be copied front to back for the month to make things easy for you! Here is what is covered in this unit:
-Writing sentences correctly using capital letters and ending punctuation
-Using Commas to separate a list of things
-Capitalizing days of the week and months of the year and names in a sentence
-Using Possessive Nouns
-Telling Time to the hour and half hour
-Drawing base 10 blocks to solve addition- 2 digit and a multiple of 10
-Drawing base 10 blocks to solve subtraction - 2 digit multiple of 10 and multiple of 10
-Personal Pronouns
-Possessive Pronouns
-Missing Addends
-Counting On-fill in the missing numbers
-Using < = or > Symbols
-Conjunctions
-Telling if an addition or subtraction statement is true or false and explaining their reasoning
