Description
FSF: Beginning Sound Match - Computer & Mouse Version is a fun anytime of the year activity for practicing beginning sounds during either small group instruction or literacy centers. This download includes 28 beginning sound pairs! There is one computer and matching mouse for each letter of the alphabet, except X, and also, beginning digraphs: sh, th, and ch.
This activity can be differentiated easily by choosing how many pairs are available for matching. If you want to stress Phonemic Awareness, just use the Desktop Computer cards and have students respond orally. Once students know the phonemes orally, add the letters to work on phonics. I usually pull them out in the letter groups I’m working on with Reading Horizons, but whatever order you present them in, I hope your students will love matching the colorful graphics.
Included:
28 Color Desktop Picture Cards: 4 per page
28 Color Alphabet Mice Cards: 6 per page
2 Spare Mice Cards - just in case.
