Description
First-Then Boards are effective visual supports used to provide clear expectations, particularly for students on the Autism spectrum. The board shows a picture of what is to be done "First," which is typically the expected task (i.e., math work), followed by the "Then," which is a preferred task (i.e., computer game or other specific desired activity). They are a great tool in helping students through the less desirable tasks both at home and at school.
This file contains two half-page First-Then Boards and one full-page board. They work well with PECS images or any other activity visuals you may use with your students.
