Description

This duration map is intended for use with positive behavior reinforcement and schedule prompts to facilitate visual communication paired with text and language.

Parents:

A duration map is typically used for learners who have difficulty understanding the concept of time and are cooperating in an activity that is not in their own high interest areas. The stars are used to indicate how long the learner must engage in the activity. Even if 5 stars must be divided among a 1 or 2 minute intervals, learners will recognize routine joint attention and you can work on extension of time commitments for learning.
