First/Then Visuals are a great tool for students that struggle with transitions.
Simply add some Velcro and visuals to represent what the student is expected to be doing.
- For example, First Math, Then Toys. OR First Play, Then Bathroom.
This teaches the student that they need to complete their expected work before they are able to have access to their preferred item.
