First Work ... Then Break Visuals
Share

Description

Many students with behavior issues, difficulty staying on task, autism and other differences have difficulty working on tasks that are difficult. They find it difficult to stay on task and often require frequent breaks. This product is comprised of visual supports designed to increase time on task, decrease frequency of breaks and allow student choice of incentives. It is designed to move through 4 "cycles" of "first work ... then break" to 2 "cycles". Cycles are determined by length of session and your discretion. Pictures include both male and female characters. Additionally, there are built in visual 'rewards' like earning computer time, reading, coloring etc and also two blank spaces where you can personalize 'rewards' based upon what motivates your specific student. There is also space for writers to write a sentence about what they are working for.
