Fish Bubble Digraph Sorting Activity

Your students will love this fish bubble activity! It includes 4 under-the-sea mats ("ch", "sh", "wh", and "th") and 20 digraph bubbles. Easy to print, cut, and laminate!

Material: You may enhance this activity by putting fasten dots behind the bubbles and on the mats, so the bubble cards can be attached on the mats or peeled off from the mats easily after being used.

Purpose: Enhance phonemic awareness-- sounding out the words with visual cues, recognizing the beginning digraph sounds of the words, and sorting the words into the correct category.

Content

• 2 colored pages of under-the-sea mats ("ch"/ "sh"/ "wh"/ "th")

• 2 black and white pages of under-the-sea mats ("ch"/ "sh"/ "wh"/ "th")

• 1 colored pages of bubble digraph word cards

• 1 black and white pages of bubble digraph word cards

• 2 black and white pages of recording sheets

Use of this Product

• Print and laminate for long term use

• Use as an independent learning station

• Use as a literacy center/ word study activity

• Use as a play-based literacy assessment about letters and sounds
