This is a non-randomized instructional deck designed specifically for middle schoolers in Life Science. Students are presented with 1 fact at a time to learn or review a main characteristics of FISH. Each informational slide is followed by a task card which requires the student to recall the fact.
Some of the concepts presented and assessed in this deck include-

For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options, you'll need a premium account. How you can use Boom Cards™ in middle school science:
At my school, each student has their own Chromebook, so I assign decks in Google Classroom. Students can work alone or in groups. I can assign the work to be done at a Science Station, as a Bell Ringer activity, or for extra practice. I differentiate instruction by individualizing the decks I assign each student, as well as hiding certain cards within the deck for individual students.
