Description

Get your students working out, thinking about their own fitness, and introduce them to amazing online exercise resources!

Students explore free Darebee.com (a health and wellness organization) workouts and exercise programs, and then design their own based on their personal fitness assessment. They then demonstrate knowing how to do the exercises properly by making a workout routine poster, complete with rest periods, difficulty options, and images/illustrations of themselves completing each exercise.

This Package Includes the Following Activities/Handouts:

  1. Introduction: to Darebee.com and its resources (posters, timers, demonstration videos, and many more!)
  2. A personalized fitness assessment to benchmark their workouts.
  3. A workout poster visual analysis.
  4. Workout Test Drive: Students complete three Darebee workouts, record their results, and do analysis of the workout design.
  5. Workout Design
