This package contains five sheets, each containing 10 tonal patterns (tonic and dominant) in one of five keys (G-Major, F-Major, D-Major, D-Minor, E-Minor). Make a copy for each student or display them on your board. I have used these sheets with my students in a variety of ways: have them read each pattern with solfege, have them identify the function (tonic/dominant) of each pattern, sing a pattern with solfege for them to find, sing a pattern without solfege for them to find, have them choose a tonic pattern to read/sing, etc.
