Description
I created these cards for an AP Music Theory course when I became aware that students took too long identifying Major and relative minor Key signatures.
These card are meant to be cut out and folded along the line to create a front and back.
The front has a number of sharps or flats, and back has 7 questions with answers. The questions are to name the Major and relative minor keys, name the leading tone in each, and then a functional question- (What is the dominant of the Major Key, What is the sub-tonic of the minor?) I also set a time limit for each student to answer the 7 questions. I have used them every year, and he students love them!
