Description

Set 1 has three forms of task cards, with 20 problems in each, using the square roots of the perfect squares the numbers 1 - 15. Examples are sq rt of 25 plus 10 or sq root of 121 minus sq rt of 49. These task cards may be used as a whole-class, or in small groups, as a review or as a contest. Each team that answers correctly earns a point and the first team to answer correctly earns an extra point.

To use this as a quiet activity, place the cards around the room and each student walks to the problems, completing them on the answer sheet included.

Or use Forms A and B as practice and use Form C as a quiz, with students using the answer sheet - convenient for the teacher.
