This is a flipchart for use with active inspire software for the promethean board. This flipchart is meant to help students recognize the commutitive property of addition. They will learn that it does not matter what order the addends are in - the sum will always be the same. They will see 'trains' of counters in two different colors and have to write the number sentece. Then, the counter 'train' will be turned around, and the students will be asked to write the number sentence again. Both times, the sum is the same.
