Description

This is an 5 page pdf file that is also part of a bundle (see below) --- DON'T BUY BOTH!!!

Students count the pictures and make a bar graph while learning the names of flowers.

There is one set of pictures:
10 roses
7 lilacs
6 daffodils
5 dandelions
4 sunflowers

The set is provided as a full page in color and a full page in grayscale to use with a half page bar graph. A full page that includes the bar graph at the bottom is also provided.

Ideas for use:

You could laminate the color page & let students use wax pencils or dry erase markers to help count.

The color picture page could be projected on a smart board for full class guided practice.

It could be a homework sheet.

This would be great for Common Core Math Standards:
k.cc.4
k.md.3
1.md.4
2.md.10

This is part of a series of monthly "Count & Graph" Activities available here as a bundle:

Count and Graph ALL YEAR

Or they are available separately:

Snow

Christmas

Thanksgiving

Heart

St Patrick's Day

Easter

Beach

Back to School

Halloween

Since many of the students cannot read the name of the flower and correspond it to the correct flower, it would be nice to have the picture next to the flower word to help with student success.
