I created this assignment to incorporate computer research as well as visual and written representation of information with the Interaction and Ecosystems unit.

This is a junior high assignment but can be adapted for a younger level.

I provided my students with organisms local to our specific area; you can either give your student a specific organism or a specific ecosystem to construct their food web around.
