Invite your Dads to volunteer for a Super Bowl math centers party! My Dads and my kiddos loved it! These 6 football math centers make a great addition to your classroom math activities and are easily adapted for multiple skill levels. Skills covered are:

Place Value-students roll dice to create 2,3,or 4 digit numbers, determine even or odd, add and subtract 10 and 100 more/less, then write in expanded form

Linear Measurement-students measure paths in inches or cm

Elapsed Time-students read word problem cards, write the start and end times, determine the elapsed time, and record

Counting Money-students visit a concession stand to buy, add, and record the total cost of products

Associative Property of Addition-students turn over number cards to create addends, apply the associative property with parenthesis cards, then write the problem two ways before solving and recording

Subtraction with Regrouping-students roll dice to create 2,3 or 4 digit numbers then subtract and record

Clearly stated direction cards make it easy for students to work independently and easy for you to prepare.

Included is a "Superbowl Centers Playbook" folder craft-the "official" place for students to store their work! I have also included a bonus MVP writing activity!
