This coloring sheet about forces is a great way to introduce students to the concept! I use this coloring sheet as a low-tech alternative to digital resources for the flipped classroom model. Often students color the sheet and write a summary for the concept as homework the night before a lab that covers the same material the next day. This provides them some basic knowledge to help them effectively communicate about the concept during the lab and can serve as notes for upcoming assessments. Students are visually drawn to read this sheet due to the chunking of text in boxes and the use of graphics. It has served as a great alternative to having kids read a chapter of the textbook!
