Description

You might think $14.99 is a lot! But this Unit is FUN and INTERACTIVE.

This is a great opportunity to download the entire Science unit about Forces on Structures. This download includes Lesson Plans, Handouts, a Smart Notebook presentation (for the whole unit) that is 42 pages in length and incorporates links to videos, questions and answers, group and individual activities and a great final group project.

The presentation includes interesting and interactive pages on the key terms (gravity, force, newtons, push, pull, etc.). The pages also include questions where students can answer, and then can come up to the board and click to see if they are correct (I find this increases focus and attentiveness).

It also includes a great lesson on compression and tension which includes bridges. It shows different types of bridges, how they work and also has links to videos and other webpages.

The final project that is described here worked perfectly. It took a little extra time to complete, however, the students were able to understand the nature of forces better afterwards.

I have sold this package to teachers in my district and they absolutely love it.

Take a look at the preview and thumbnails!!!!

Please Enjoy

Thank you for putting this together and sharing. It is so helpful to have something prepared - the video/resource inclusions in the notebook file are great :-)
