Description

During this class your students will be able to get an overview over some of the forgotten crises in the World today. They will get the opportunity to reflect over the locations of the different crises and may be able to reflect over some of the relations between the different crises. Will a draught in one area lead to other crises in the nearby area, and if so – what kind of crises will arise?

This lesson has a duration for 45 – 120 minutes, and the only thing your students will need is internet (or other sources of information) and pencils in different colours.

The teacher divides the class into seven groups and prints one example of the assignment and seven maps (preferably in A3-size). Cut the sheet with the assignments in seven and give one assignment and one map to each group.

At the end of the lesson, you can hang the maps on the wall of your classroom and discuss what you and your students observe.
