Want your students to practice reading (fiction and nonfiction) and math (multiplication and division)? Here is a fun way to get them excited about their learning and working together cooperatively.
Students will read through a scenerio and be given 5 puzzles to solve that will help them escape the scenerio. Each puzzle will give them numbers to enter on a "keypad" that will stop a virus from infecting their computers.
Puzzle 1: Multiplication and Division Facts
Puzzle 2: Nonfiction Article and Questions
Puzzle 3: 2-Digit Multiplication Word Problems
Puzzle 4: Fiction Article and Questions
Puzzle 5: 1 Digit Divisor Division Word Problems
Complete all in one day or split it up into short bits of time over the course of 5 days (1 puzzle per day).
