Description

Transform math into an enjoyable and interactive experience with these engaging hands-on math sorts, specifically designed for basic skills! This comprehensive packet encompasses four types of sorts: counting, big/little, coins, and number identification. Students participate in sorting activities, counting pieces up to a specific number, differentiating between big and small items, categorizing various images of the same coin, and sorting by number. Ideal for both teacher-directed instructional time and independent work, these activities provide an interactive approach that goes beyond basic velcro matching. Tailored for all students, particularly those with autism, this resource facilitates the hands-on learning of fundamental math skills.

I used these as small group activities and they were great for my SWD. I liked that the activities were grouped by different numbers, not just in numerical order. I printed, laminated and used with pocket charts.
