Do you need a simple, no prep way to practice solving division story problems involving remainders? With these division slides, your students will be able to solve division story problems by interpreting the remainder.

*These slides are an introduction to how to interpret remainders based on three different strategies - ignore it, use it, round it. There is a set of slides that can be used for additional practice as well. The two sets of slides can be used together or separately. They both review the different strategies, but this set includes an in-depth explanation. For a brief review of the strategies, please see the Fourth Grade Digital Division Slides - Interpreting Remainders Review.

This set of Google Slides that is perfect to use as a mini-lesson, when working with small groups, for intervention or reteaching, or even for your students to work through independently.

These digital division slides for fourth graders are aligned with Texas TEKS and CCSS. They can be easily shared in Google Classroom, displayed on a video conferencing platform, or projected on the board for a mini-lesson.

I also love to upload my slides into SeeSaw or Nearpod when I use them with my fourth graders. Directions for Nearpod and SeeSaw are included. It is so EASY, and fun, for them to interact with the material on these platforms. Your students can follow along and show what they know. My teammate prints them out as a PDF, and her students take notes on them. Either way, these slides can be used to introduce a topic or even as an exit ticket. Best of all, they can be easily adapted to fit the needs of your students.
