Description
*NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EUREKA TEXAS OR EUREKA SQUARED*
This is a PowerPoint resource that will help you teach the first half of Module 3 for 4th grade. It includes slides for lessons 1-13 with the needed charts and problems to teach the Concept Development section. Review from previous lessons is included at the beginning of each new lesson, and Problem Sets are at the end of each lesson. I have recently added lesson links so that you don't have to scroll through other lessons to get to the one you need. I have also added I Can Statements, Fluency, Application Problems, Debriefs, and Exit Tickets.
**I created these PowerPoints to help me manage my class time. I like to keep my Concept Development to about 30 minutes so that my students have time to work in teams each day. When I first started to teach the modules, I had a very difficult time getting it all in, and Concept Development took much of my class time. These PowerPoints provide the meat of the lesson but may not include EVERY example suggested by the module. My kids have enjoyed math so much more this year, and they get excited to see the math messages on each slide!
Management Tip: I print each lesson with three slides to a page so that it gives lines for taking notes beside each slide. I make myself notes, reminders, and teaching tips. I keep these in a binder that has dividers for each module. I use these "teacher's guides" during my lessons instead of having the module book out. When finished with a lesson, I return it to my binder and get out the next one to look over for the next day.
**This PPT is intended to be used with an interactive white board so that the teacher can model problem solving with the students.
**EDITABLE!
