This Place Value Unit is ready to go to help you meet the following Common Core standards in Fourth Grade Number and Operations in Base Ten:
Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using comparison symbols.
Understanding place value is the key to helping your students in all other areas of Math and lots of practice will help your students achieve mastery in place value!
In this unit you will find a PDF (41 pages) that contains game ideas, formative and summative assessments (including answer sheets), homework practice sheets (including answer sheets) and useful place value mats.
This unit also contains a Smart Board file (47 pages) that you can use with the PDF for a readymade unit for up to three weeks of teaching! Also, could be used for fifth grade as a review or for third grade with simple modifications.
