First, your student will independently solve a problem.
Next, he or she will click on the video link and watch a video solution. Multiple solution strategies are demonstrated. These include drawing models, two different ways to find equivalent fractions, how to simplify and using a traditional algorithm. Students will watch the videos as many times as needed to deepen understanding and build confidence. This provides built in differentiation for all of your students.
Later, you can assign the quick check assessment. This 3 question formative assessment is a self-grading Google Form and will give you formative assessment data to help you plan your next lesson!
