Teaching meaningful fraction content before a holiday can be difficult! Make fraction operations fun by reviewing and practicing with these fun holiday task cards! Get the students out of their seats and engaged in thinking and talking about fractions.
For Halloween, students will practice adding fractions. At Thanksgiving, they will practice subtracting fractions. For Christmas time, they will review multiplying fractions. And Valentine's Day is a lovely day to practice dividing fractions. Lastly, St. Patrick's Day students will engage in practice over all four fraction operations.
There are five holiday sets included and bundled to save you 40%! That's a total of 120 task cards, 10 student answer sheet options (color and B&W for each holiday), and five answer keys for only $6.00.
Task cards are an engaging way for students to practice operations with fractions that offer the teacher a lot of flexibility. I suggest printing them, cutting them, and laminating them so they last for years to come.
