These fraction task cards were designed to suit the Year 2 Mathematics curriculum in Australia. It is likely to suit other curriculums as well.

• What fraction is this?
• Write this fraction in words...
• Draw a picture to represent this fraction...
• Which fraction is larger?

What's included:

• 32 task cards (4 to a page)
• Answer key
• Answer recording sheet for students

Ways to use:

• Early finishing work.
• Math station work.
• Class rotations. When I used these with my class I gave each student the answer sheet and a task card. Students were instructed to put their hands on their heads after they were finished with their card. When all/most students were ready they passed their card to the person on their left (rotational).
