Description

This interactive notebook PDF covers ALL of the 4th grade NF standards. This is a one of a kind interactive notebook collection. I am a teacher, and if you are like me, copy paper is limited and hard to come by. A lot of the interactive notebook items I was using required two pages per student. This interactive notebook is designed to have two pages worth of stuff all printed on one page. Some topics are even printed two per page. The layout of each standard included a guide (I do), practice problems (we do) and independent work (you do). Some of the products allow for the teacher to add additional problems to reinforce the skills being taught.

Includes:

Equivalent Fractions

Comparing Fractions

Understanding Fractions

Decomposing Fractions

Converting Fractions

Adding/Subtracting Fractions with Like Denominators

Fraction Word Problems

Unit Fractions

Multiply Fractions by Whole Numbers

Word Problems (Multiply whole number by fraction)

Denominators of 10 & 100

Fraction Relation Ship to Decimals

Explain why a fraction 𝘢/𝘣 is equivalent to a fraction (𝘯 × 𝘢)/(𝘯 × 𝘣) by using visual fraction models, with attention to how the number and size of the parts differ even though the two fractions themselves are the same size. Use this principle to recognize and generate equivalent fractions.
Compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators, e.g., by creating common denominators or numerators, or by comparing to a benchmark fraction such as 1/2. Recognize that comparisons are valid only when the two fractions refer to the same whole. Record the results of comparisons with symbols >, =, or <, and justify the conclusions, e.g., by using a visual fraction model.
Understand a fraction 𝘢/𝘣 with 𝘢 > 1 as a sum of fractions 1/𝘣.
