This product contains 26 word problems involving fractions. Each word problem includes a series of problem solving steps. These steps were created for the purpose of making sense of a problem, instead of using tricks and key words to solve. Students must understand what the problem is asking them to do before using strategies to solve. This product includes one and two step word problems.

There are 3 formats for each word problem. Answer key is included.

I was looking for word problems to use with my students during our fractions unit, this is exactly what I needed! I like how the sheets are organized and it helps my students not only show their work but have to explain what they did. There are many different ways you could use these and I definitely recommend.
