Help students practice the skill of solving fraction-of problems with these interactive task cards. This skill helps to build readiness for multiplying fractions by whole numbers. Each slide has a riddle to solve. Students click and drag the colored tiles into the workspace to build their solution. File also includes answers for each task, so you may want to keep that copy for yourself, and delete the slides with the answers when you make your student copies!

This activity goes along perfectly with Everyday Math Grade 5, Unit 3- Lessons 13 and 14.
