Used with a Grade 4 PYP student in my class who was going away for two weeks for family reasons. As the class would be working on fractions in her absence, and as she is one of the more confident Mathematicians in the class, I gave her this project to work on while she was away, with the understanding that any questions she had she could email me for advice. She absolutely loved it and it was one of her favorite things we did that year!
