These amazing guided notes will help your students develop number sense and a deep understanding of this concept as you guide them through the notes. Students will learn by working through the concrete, representational, and abstract (CRA) stages of the concept. This model was followed as closely as possible for the concept. These notes will help students on all learning levels to understand the “why” behind the concept, not just memorizing steps.
Included sections are vocabulary, activity/concrete example, drawing a picture, steps to solve, and examples including word problems.
This note will save class time by providing students with organized places to fill in the blanks instead of needing to write in a blank journal. The notes can also be used as study guides for assessments.
An answer key is included. This guided note will take approximately 45 minutes to teach.
