Many kids love to doodle, but sometimes they find themselves in need of a bit of inspiration. Kids Art Projects 101 is here to help with that!
We have two different options of free draw challenges to choose from. Try one or both!
We’ve combined both formats into one quick download.
This Resource Delivers:
- A Monthly Free Draw Challenges digital slide deck (34 slides that include directions, visual samples, advanced options, closing activity options, twelve Free Draw Challenge slides, and blank slide templates)
- A printable set of 12 Monthly Sets of Doodle Prompts for Creative Kids to Use Every Day
The Monthly Free Draw Challenges component of this resource is comprised of 12 digital slides organized by month.
- They are designed to be displayed on a smart board or other large scale digital display.
- We recommend allotting 25-30 minutes for this activity, including set-up and clean-up time.
- The prompts will likely need to be read aloud to younger students and completed in a whole group or small group format.
- If you prefer a different starting month, you can rearrange the slides.
If you want to customize the list of words on a monthly challenge slide, just open a blank slide template and layer in your own text box! Adding your school mascot or timely prompts relating to the season or a recent focal topic can add interest for some students.
