Description
Help kids and young adults set up a homework binder that will help them stay organized, prepared, and ready for success. A homework binder is an individualized binder for each student that contains: a pencil pouch, homework log, homework folder, and more. Students should bring it with them to every class. For students at the middle and high school level, they can add their schedule to the binder to keep them on track for the day.
How to Use
- First, students will gather a binder to use.
- Next, students will add a pencil pouch to the front of their binder. Note that part of their daily routine should be to check and make sure they have enough pencils/pens for the day.
- Then, students will add their homework log, planner, or agenda to the binder.
- Next, students will add a homework folder into the binder. This is where current homework assignments to complete and turn in will be compiled.
- Finally, students individualize their homework binders using printable cover pages. This helps for students to take ownership of their homework binders.
- Students can complete the "Let's Review" page to review what they've learned about homework binders and share next steps for the future.
