This math maze resource is an excellent tool for reinforcing fraction operations and whole number multiplication and division in an engaging and interactive way. My 5th grade students were highly motivated to complete the mazes because it felt like a game rather than traditional worksheet practice. It provided meaningful opportunities for students to apply their skills in adding and subtracting fractions, as well as multiplying and dividing whole numbers. One standout feature is how the maze format encourages accuracy. Students must carefully solve each problem to find the correct path, which promotes critical thinking and self-checking. It also supports independent work, small group activities, and math centers, making it very flexible for classroom use. This resource helped improve my students’ confidence and problem-solving skills while keeping them engaged and focused. I highly recommend it for teachers looking for a fun and effective way to practice essential math skills.

Fluently multiply multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
Find whole-number quotients of whole numbers with up to four-digit dividends and two-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators (including mixed numbers) by replacing given fractions with equivalent fractions in such a way as to produce an equivalent sum or difference of fractions with like denominators. For example, 2/3 + 5/4 = 8/12 + 15/12 = 23/12. (In general, 𝘢/𝘣 + 𝘤/𝘥 = (𝘢𝘥 + 𝘣𝘤)/𝘣𝘥.)
